This is Frog Nap when I was just designing him for his look. I didn't know what to do of his face so I decided on doing these to see which one I would like best. I chose the third one because of the eyes and the mouth. I liked how it looked while the other ones were a bit on the ugly side. The eyes were to wide and side ways looking so he looked a bit wacko. Anyways on the other ones he still looked weird with the eyes and mouth. That's why I chose the third one.
I also agree that the third drawing fits Frog Nap's personality the best. The first drawing almost looks like an alien! Maybe he could be a different character :). It's amazing how far the design has come and I love the final illustration. Great use of color and design!
